The city of Bochnia - the legend of Polish salt - is known in the country and abroad primarily as an important center of saline tourism, however, in the next few years the city will also focus on the development of new, active forms of spending free time and leisure, including hiking and cycling, combined with education and fun.One of the modern tools is a free mobile application, in which there are not only field games, but also places and routes on which the tourist is guided.
The application uses GPS technology and is an offer of active recreation along with historical and sightseeing education.
Each of the places has a description and geographical coordinates, thanks to which you can easily find them on the map and designate a route to it.Field games will guide the user around the most interesting places The legible and easy-to-use application will surely provide its users with lots of fun, and completing the entire quest, topped with a virtual diploma and seal, will satisfy not only the youngest.The mobile guide also includes hiking and cycling routes, created as part of the project, with a total length of 26 km, which will lead the most charming corners of the city and its surroundings.
All tourist routes created as part of the "TURISTICUS" project are in the form of loops and are connected with characters or places important for Bochnia.
These include: the cycling trail: TOUR de KOPALNIA (5.3 km), walking trails: Trakt św.
KINGA (1.9 km), St.
BARBARA (2.2 km) and Trakt św.
MIKOŁAJ (1.6 km), as well as footpaths: SUTORIS loop (1.6 km), CAMPI loop (3.9 km) and TRINITATIS loop (9.5 km).
BOCHNI CROWN.
They will be additionally connected to the European cycling route "EUROVELO 4" through the regional cycling route "Salina Cracoviensis" running through Bochnia.
